Velvet Plush Elephant Amigurumi Crochet Pattern
The mattress stitch is ideal for sewing your toys, it leaves a very nice and neat seam. I don’t use it everywhere, but I especially like it to connect the head and the body; looks really neat and helps prevent head drooping. Check the tutorials HERE and HERE.
Since Amigurumi is crocheted in a spiral, the end of the round and the beginning of the round do not match. That said, when you change the thread there is a noticeable step. If you ever need to change the thread, it is usually not as noticeable and can sometimes be covered with some trim or strategically placed limbs, tail or ears. But when you’re doing something striped, you have to join rounds to get perfect strips. Check out the tutorial HERE.
Hello my dear friends. I can say that I worked a lot while translating this nice amigurumi model. It was really worth the effort, because it’s such a cute elephant. I shared many models of amigurumi prepared using velvet yarn, but I don’t remember distributing free amigurumi models without elephants. I hope you like this.
